It was a beautiful day partly spent in the park. Tristan learned how to use the digital camera- lots of fingers in many photos.
We had 2 special guests; Uncle Pete and Minnie Mouse shared dinner with us.
Pete had a lesson in mass transit and learned how easy it was to get here by train. Dylan showed him the "light".
Kieran and Dylan made Pumpkin Pie together.
Chef made roasted root vegetables, amazing stuffing or "crouton salad" if your Dylan, mashed potatoes, cranberry and a 15 pound bird all made by Kieran.
I think we overwhelmed Uncle Pete with bloody mary's, beer and wine. Coffee didn't help revivie him but it could have been the turkey leg as big as Tristan.
Dylan quietly retreated back to the kitchen and "stole" some creme puffs in the quiet solitude of the cleaned up kitchen.
Tristan passed out by 8:30 but I think Uncle Pete may have passed out first.
now that's the way to celebrate the turkey! you can almost smell that zuni feathered delight! root veggies....mmmmmmmmm kieran does know how to cook! and, another great picture of the original brother and sister team! and peter urbanizing dylan...a picture for the ages! and, don't forget tristan, "pigeon whispering"....much to be thankful for!
