Memo to Aunt Rosie and Gang
Struggle as we do it all looks great! At least those who are not afraid to try and you know who you are!
I recommend calling me during the week at home between 9 and 2 while Dylan is at school and i can do it with you over the phone. Unless Tristan is jealous of the computer time then I might have to cut you short.
Let the lessons begin- I will have advil on hand especially when my dear parents call. They are the worst students of all!

Memo to Michelle
Michelle – I was finally able to write below the pictures. My problem was that I had to center them rather than put them on the left side (at least with my computer). However, I still needed help as I didn’t remember how to delete my drafts. I took my life in my hands and called Barbara Annie and she was able to help me. I also discovered that the picture I put in first was coming out second and that was another re-do. I’ll get it all one of these days. My next big step will be putting an album into Facebook. LOL

Isabella turned 2 in December

Mr. DeMille I am ready for my closeup

New Sassy bangs from Grandpa!
The paparazzi have arrived.

Party Time!

Isabella celebrated her 2nd birthday in Wantagh with Grandma and Grandpa. Of course Grandpa made another awesome cake. Isabella loves these muppet things that are the cake. I think they are Hugga Wugga's. I have to give Grandma props because most of these photo's are her, especially the action shots. Grandma is getting her blog lesson soon.
In true Asarisi (michelle) fashion Isabella changed during the party into several outfits. I am so proud of her. She picked out her own party clothes and loved being a princess.
Dylan enjoyed helping with the cake and presents. For him it was a test run for his party one week later.
The kids had a blast and didn't wan't the party to end.

I spoke too soon
Just this morning I was typing that my company was teetering but hopeful and I erased those very words.
Well now after 8 years we are closing the doors due to a serious of sad, catastrophic recent events related to Wall Street and the apparel industry. We can't even ship the goods that we have because the banks don't want to lend the money.
Tomorrow I have an interview for the third time and I have another one later today.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.
This is sadder then Shea.

History Made

Yesterday was an amazing day in history. Most of you are die hard republicans but I felt like yesterday marked a new beginning. Kennedy is from the past and for most of you probably means something more then he or his work to me.
At work we set up a TV and we all seven sat to watch the events very old school. We probably needed bunny ears for our 14" TV. I tried to stream it on my monitor but it was overloaded.
How amazing to see so many hopeful people gathered?! I had a few friends on the ground plus my coworkers 13 year old son was there as part of the New Leaders of the Future group. I can't wait to see more detailed accounts. The energy, the hope and pride was almost overwhelming.
Most of all I enjoyed an articulate, passionate well spoken individual who did not talk down, dumb down or smirk mid sentence. A true leader to Lead.

Let it Snow!

This is the walk to school our favorite time of day together.

Today Tristan wears gloves!

Brrrr no gloves

Unlike South Jersey we have had snow all weekend. We failed at making at a snowman but we had fun anyway.

Baskets Are Best

We all spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa Orchard's yesterday. Isabella and Cherokee are heading back to California for a while unless of course CA sends them back because of the newly claimed bankruptcy in the state.
Isabella was spending the night with Grandma and Grandpa so she can be spoiled properly before heading west.
Tristan was a bit jealous for a while but got over fast when the fun began! When Dylan first saw Isabella he said "She can talk now!" and she can! Her favorite words are "Grandma now! Grandma where are you?! and "GRANDMA!" LOL
The girls also had their first "CAT FIGHT" which drove me to a glass of red wine and Grandma had to ease the tensions. Grandma would be good in the middle east.
Grandma cuddled up with the kids for Alice in Wonderland which I think only Isabella really cared about. Tristan begged for Spongebob and Dylan went back to the MTA website.
At the dinner table Isabella pulled a Virg and let slip "Oh shit "Isabella was spending the night with Grandma and Grandpa so she can be spoiled properly before heading west.

Grandma missed her blog lesson and FB lesson because none of the kids would leave her alone!
All the toys at that house and the kids loved the baskets best! And Dylan went mad for an old time Slinky! He had to bring it back home he loved it so much.
As for the food! The men know how to do it! Anthony spoiled us with fresh bread, cheese and olives. Tristan demolished most of the olives. She can eat for two! Dinner was a wonderful English lasagna (less red sauce more cheddar on top!) and a home made apple and berry pie with ice cream. The kids didn't want to leave and Dylan wanted to stay over.
Lucky for us both fell asleep pretty quickly for the speedy drive home! Ahhhh goood times.
We are going to miss Isabella until her next visit.
