Memories of Shea

Tony Perez playing 1st and Jerry Grote on base. I won 4 tix to a doubleheader and passes to the Diamond Club Mem. Day 1977. Even rode the elevator with Ralph Kiner and Pat Zachary (he ha a broken leg). Elevator door opened and there stood the 1969 Championship Trophy.

Game 7 of 1986 World Series. Geeze, talk about exciting.

Me and Tug McGraw
when he came to Lakewood in 2002. What a sweetheart.

My friend Bill was Head Groundskeeper at Shea for 2 years.. Skyline in outfield was his masterpiece.

They can destroy the stadium but not my memories! ~wiping away the tears~
